Free time has been at a real premium lately. Just keeping up with the daily news has been a struggle, especially because there is just so darn much of it. Anyway, I'm considering making this site my startup page. It has a quick glance at all you need to know about the nations news on a daily basis.

Keep up to date. Yes we can!

Nice resource. I also subscribe to a magazine called 'The Week'. It takes all of the news stories from around the world (organized by maps) as well as the major news articles from well-known sources and packages them nicely with a little gossip, some random facts, and obituaries along with the obligatory advertisements, some comics, and culture stuff, and a few random articles. A whole week -- in 20 minutes. You may want to check it out.
