Freakin' Cold and Flu Season

Hi All,

Sorry about the delays in posting- I've been sick.

And working long days.

And sick.

And working through vacation with the kids.

And Sick.

And I woke up this morning and forgot to try to get Police tickets.

Now I'm crabby and Sick.

But the academy awards are coming up, and I've seen some nominated pictures.

Loved the departed and black dahlia - never would have imagined josh hartnett could play that role. he was really good. and the cinematography in the black dahlia was really cool. saw devil wears prada, but was sick, so fell asleep. don't think thats a comment on the film, but it might be.

Went to Boka for dinner last weekend with my sweetie, but I was sick and not hungry and didn't feel well, so we just had snacks and drinks. Yummy. And empty, when we sat down at 7:30, there was one other table, and they left - good thing because they sat us right next to them and they had a kid who was about 6 and bouncing around unruly like flying an airplane. which is fine, when you aren't sick. and paying for an expensive dinner. i have no problem with kids eating at nice places, as long as they don't interfere with my nice time. but i digress. i suppose the place being empty wasn't all that strange since it was a sunday night...but monday was a holiday... so maybe you should go there for a nice quiet dinner on a sunday, the food and drinks are great, and since its pretty empty, the crowd can't make you can't feel uncool.

The kids and i have been enjoying our half of mid winter break, but i've been sick, and I've been working, so I'm not forcing them to do much. which they like, they like to just play games and watch movies. Mad and I are watching Star Wars as I type, in HiDef, which is really cool.

I just sneezed 20 times in a row, seriously, and my arm is now numb? so I think I'm gonna sign off. cause... I'm sick.
